Student Lending Works Announces New Hires and Staff Promotion

CINCINNATI, OH —Student Lending Works, the designated nonprofit provider of student loan products for the State of Ohio, is proud to announce the hiring of two new members to its staff and a staff promotion.

Chris Anderson was hired as the new Creative Director in November of 2006. In this role, he will oversee the creation of the Student Lending Works brand, create design concepts for direct marketing, collateral materials and corporate identity, and support the look and feel of the business-to-consumer Web site. Formerly, Chris worked for Student Loan Funding as a Senior Graphic Designer, where he managed a team of junior designers. Chris attended Northern Kentucky University.

Mark Alexander was hired as the Call Center Supervisor in November 2006. In this role, he will help build the infrastructure for providing marketing and sales support, in addition to supporting loan origination and servicing functions. He will help to establish and implement operational processes and procedures for the call center. Before joining Student Lending Works, Mark was the Call Center Manager/E-Workforce Manager for LCA Vision/Lasik Plus Vision Center, where he was responsible for managing the call center. Mark is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a degree in Communication Arts.

Jay Bauer has been promoted to Campus Marketing Manager. Bauer’s new responsibilities include researching, developing and overseeing the execution of campus program marketing efforts that target Ohio colleges and universities. He will participate in the development and implementation of the sales and marketing plan for Ohio colleges and universities. Jay is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he earned degrees in Marketing and Finance.
