Student Lending Works Schedules End of FFELP Participation

CINCINNATI—With the passage of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (H.R. 4872), no new loans may be disbursed under the Federal Family Education Loan Program after June 30, 2010. Therefore, Student Lending Works will not be able to accept any loan applications for the upcoming 2010-11 academic year.

Remaining FFELP Participation for 2009-10
We will continue to accept loan applications for the remaining 2009-10 academic year and will originate Federal Stafford, Parent PLUS, and Graduate PLUS loans that must meet the following guidelines:

• Be guaranteed before April 30, 2010
• Have a first disbursement before July 1, 2010
• Be fully disbursed no later than September 18, 2010
