Four borrowers will win $5,000 each towards their loan balance

COLUMBUS—Student Lending Works, the designated nonprofit provider of student loan products for the State of Ohio, is kicking off its Student Lending Workssm Student Loan Smack Down Contest geared towards college students and graduates with Federal student loans—either Stafford or PLUS. Four individual borrowers will win $5,000 towards their consolidation loan balances.

There are a number of ways to be eligible for the Student Lending Workssm Student Loan Smack Down Contest. You must be a legal Ohio resident, have attended an Ohio college or university, be at least 18 years of age, and have a minimum of $5,000 in Federal consolidation loans by November 30, 2007. Or, you must be a parent who is a legal Ohio resident or an Ohio parent who has a student who attended an Ohio college or university and has a minimum of $5,000 in Federal consolidation loans by November 30, 2007.
