Student Lending Works Lends A Hand During The Holidays

CINCINNATI, OHIO - The State of Ohio's designated nonprofit student loan lender, Student Lending Works, partnered with Rosa Parks Elementary in Middletown, Ohio during the holidays to provide Christmas gifts for underpriveledged students and families.  Student Lending Works made a contribution to go towards gift packages that included sweaters, games and holiday items for the children to share with their families.  The gift packages were distributed to the neediest kids in the school.  This is the first time Student Lending Works has been involved in what will now be an annual event.

"We did this in conjunction with The Ohio Association for Student Financial Aid Administrators (OASFAA) winter conference that was held in Columbus," said Sandy Baker-Evans, Student Lending Works School and Client Relations Manager.  "More than 100 of the colleges in attendance embraced this idea to give to others during this holiday season."

The "lending a hand" event is all part of the overall Student Lending Works mission to support education opportunities for Ohio families.
