Navigating NSLDS
The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) can help you access information about your federal student loans such as the types of loans you have borrowed, the amount owed on each loan and the interest rate of each loan. Here's how to use it:
Step 1. Go to the NSLDS website ( www.nslds.ed.gov)
Once there, select "Financial Aid Review". You must then "Accept" the privacy and browser security statements on the following pages.
Step 2. Enter the required information on the login page
You will be required to provide your social security number, last name, date of birth and FAFSA Pin to verify your identity and access your loan information. Don't have your FAFSA Pin? You can re-establish it at www.pin.ed.gov

Step 3. Review your loan information
On the following page you'll see a listing of all your federal student loans and information about those loans such as the types of loans you have borrowed and the balances on those loans. For more detailed information like the interest rate of each loan, simply click the blue number to the left of the loan.
